I need to rent a dumpster. How do I figure out what size dumpster I'm going to need for my job?
Great question! Choosing the appropriate size for your dumpster can be tough. We always like to tell our customers to err on the side of caution. It's better and cheaper to order more dumpster than you need than to have to order a smaller dumpster twice.
What is included in the rental price?
All prices shown here at Ridawaste.com include the delivery, 7-days of rental, the haul-away of the dumpster, the disposal of your trash (up to 4 tons) in a licensed disposal facility and all associated taxes. Additional fees will be assessed for extended rental durations and excess weight, if necessary, per the terms and conditions.
Are there any hidden fees?
Never. The price we quote is the price you'll pay. If you have changes to your order that extend your rental, or if the contents of your full dumpster weights more than 4-tons, we will notify you of the additional charges at that time.
How long does it take to receive my dumpster after I place my online order?
You can have your dumpster within 24 hours! Unlike many dumpster delivery companies, Waste - Services & Transports lets you choose when you want to receive your dumpster. Simply indicate your preferred delivery date during the online ordering process. Because we serve North Georgia exclusively, we operate in a much smaller radius than other companies. And that lets us service you sooner!
Where will you put the dumpster when you deliver it?
We can place the dumpster almost anywhere we have access, whether it's the street in front of your residence or business, in a drive way, or in the yard. Please note, some cities require permits to place a dumpster on the street. Waste - Services & Transports is not liable for any expenses or damage incurred regarding the requested placement of your dumpster.
How much space do you need when you deliver the dumpster?
Because we're delivering your dumpster on a large truck, we request that you have your dumpster placed in an area with an open space no less than twice the size of the container.
Does anyone need to be present when you deliver the dumpster?
We prefer if someone is available to accept delivery. However, if no one will be available, please call us at (888) 536-2116 ahead of time so we can discuss the delivery.
How long do I get to keep the dumpster?
Every dumpster we rent comes with a full seven days use. If you need additional time, you can purchase additional days through the online ordering process. If you don't request additional days upfront, but determine that you'll need more time after we've delivered your dumpster, just give us a call at (888) 536-2116 within 48 hours of your scheduled pick-up. You can change the schedule and purchase additional time right over the phone. If we show up to retrieve your dumpster but you need extra time, we need to charge a travel fee of $150, so please be sure to call ahead!
Are there restrictions on what I can place inside the dumpster?
Yes. You may only place solid waste items in our containers. Certain items are not permitted whatsoever. This includes any radioactive, volatile, highly flammable, explosive, biomedical, infectious, toxic or other hazardous materials. Liquids of any kind are not allowed inside our dumpsters. Also, your municipality may have additional requirements, so please check with them if you're not sure if an item can be disposed of in a dumpster. Waste - Services & Transports assumes no liability for the contents placed in your container.
Can you give me some specifics of what cannot be put in a dumpster?
Sure. Hazardous waste, dirt, industrial waste, chemical products, oil filters, herbicides & pesticides, radioactive material, solvents, paint (except completely dried latex paint cans, no liquids), other flammable liquids, aerosol cans, propane tanks, motor oil, transmission oil/lubricating/hydraulic oil/ oil filters, contaminated oils (mixed with solvents, gasoline, etc.), antifreeze, appliances, petroleum contaminated soil, lead paint chips, tires, fluorescent tubes, railroad ties, medical waste, asbestos, animals, barrels, and liquid of any kind. In addition, certain electronic items cannot be placed in our dumpsters. These include batteries, computers, monitors, televisions, and microwaves.
What if I run out of room in my dumpster before I'm done loading it?
While the contents of your dumpster may reach the top of the container, nothing can be sticking out of the top. If you run out of room, just call us at (888) 536-2116. We'll come out and deliver an empty dumpster and haul away your full dumpster. Please note, you will be charged for an additional rental.
Is there a weight limitation on your dumpsters?
Yes. The weight limit for all of our dumpsters (10-30 cubic-yards) is 4 tons (8,000 pounds). The weight limit is dictated by both the amount of weight our trucks can carry as well as the disposal fees we pay to dump your waste. Certain items such as boulders, tree branches and dirt are very heavy and can quickly add weight. Please note that if your disposal exceeds the 4-ton limit, an excess-weight fee will be assessed to your order.
If I complete my job early, can you pick up the dumpster ahead of my scheduled pick-up?
Yes. Just call us at (888) 536-2116 and let us know that you're ready to have your dumpster removed. Please understand that Waste - Services & Transports dumpsters come with a minimum of seven days' rental. While we can pick up your dumpster sooner than that, we cannot refund any part of your rental fee.
What if I've placed my order already but I need to change it?
If we haven't loaded your dumpster for delivery yet, you can change your order by calling (888) 536-2116.
You can change everything from the delivery day, time, location and rental duration. Please have your order confirmation available when calling to make changes to your order. If you need to cancel your order, please note that there is a minimum cancellation fee of $125.
